1. What products does PowerLig.com sell?

Sdmenergy.com specializes in high-quality portable generators, standby home backup generators, inverter generators, diesel and gasoline models, and generator accessories like covers, cords, and transfer switches.


2. Are your generators brand new?

Yes. All generators and accessories sold on PowerLig.com are brand new, unused, and shipped directly from the manufacturer or authorized distributor.


3. Do you offer installation services?

We do not currently offer installation services. However, we can refer you to licensed professionals in your area for standby generator installation. Always use a certified technician for proper and safe setup.


🚚 Orders, Shipping & Delivery

4. How long does shipping take?

Standard orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days. Freight shipments for large generators may take 5–10 business days depending on your location.


5. Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping on select products and promotions. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, location, and delivery method.


6. How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number and a link to monitor the shipment in real time.


7. Do you ship outside the U.S.?

12. Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Return shipping is generally the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or we shipped the wrong product.


13. How long does it take to receive my refund?

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

14. Do your generators come with a warranty?

Yes! All generators sold on PowerLig.com come with a manufacturer’s limited warranty, typically ranging from 1 to 5 years, depending on the model. Please see our Warranty Policy for full details.


15. How do I file a warranty claim?

Contact us at contact@sdmernergy.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video if applicable. We’ll assist you in submitting a warranty claim with the manufacturer.


16. What should I do if my generator arrives damaged?

Inspect your delivery carefully. If the product is visibly damaged upon arrival, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately with photos at contact@sdmernergy.com.

17. What size generator do I need for my home?

It depends on the number of appliances you want to run. A 5,000–7,500 watt generator is sufficient for most essential home functions. Use our sizing guide or contact us for help choosing the right unit.


18. Do I need a transfer switch?

Yes, for safely connecting your generator to home circuits, a manual or automatic transfer switch is essential. It prevents backfeeding and protects your home and utility workers.


19. How often should I service my generator?

Routine maintenance, like oil changes, air filter replacements, and spark plug checks, is essential. Refer to your owner’s manual for service intervals. We also carry replacement parts and accessories.


20. Can I use a generator indoors?

No. Never use a generator indoors or in enclosed spaces. Generators produce deadly carbon monoxide gas and must be operated outside in a well-ventilated area.
